Shailendra Pratap Singh graduated from IIT Kanpur in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech, 1996 Pass out). While in IIT, he worked on Finite Element Analysis for Landing Gear Designs of F16 fighter aircrafts for Lockheed International, USA. After a brief stint with Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) & Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), he moved to USA to work on high technology Test Equipment systems. His algorithms (reversed Faraday Law) for chip testing equipments were highly appreciated and are extensively used in equipments at INTEL, EPSON etc.

In 2003, he returned to India and started high technology engineering company M/s Neometrix Engineering Private Limited to design & manufacture Ground Testing Equipments, Ground Handling Equipments & Ground Support Equipment (GTE/GHE/GSE) for Indian Air Force. Neometrix has its equipments approved by DGAQA (Director General Aviation Quality Assurance) and has supplies at almost all bases of Indian Air Force. Neometrix has supplied more than 400 equipments to Indian Air Force in last 14 years.

In Year 2014, Mr. Singh started www.industrykart.com with a vision to build highly scalable & profitable business which can solve the pain points of the industry. This venture, which focuses on becoming single supplier for all procurements by a company is focusing on value creation for the customers by integration of engineering & associated services required by companies (especially in MSME sector). Currently industrykart.com is focusing on launching its SAAS products on www.industrykart.com to make it more useful to its customers.
